Okwelle Association in North America
It all started in the summer of 1994, July, to be precise, when a group of young people of Okwelle origin in America organized themselves and met in white plains, NY, at the basement of High Chief and Chief Mrs Luke Ashamole’s residence to form what is today known as Okwelle Association in North America (OANA).
It was subsequently registered and incorporated in the State of Kansas on June 28th, 2004, as a non-profit organization under section 501(c)3 of the internal revenue service code. Thus, your donation is always tax deductible under this code.
